7 September
Up and away bright and early this morning before it got too hot as we were in a very exposed spot. We watched the boat leave as our internet access also disappeared. We drove as far as we could go north along the Manari road to Coulomb point and spent some time exploring the inlet and the beach there, with no one else in sight.

We then had to head back south again to get back onto the Cape Leveque road to our next destination of Middle Lagoon, stopping off in Beagle Bay to look at the magnificent church there, with inlaid mother of pearl,

followed by lunching under the shade of a tree whilst listening to the latest news on the election and hearing the preferences of the three independents that finalised the outcome of our new Government.
Once back onto the main road north we were pleased to hit the bitumen, as most of the road had been bumpy corrugated red dirt.
There were quite a few campers at Middle lagoon but we still managed to find ourselves a shady spot. The lagoon is very pretty as is the whole coastline there.
