before continuing on the Gibb....
Called in at Elllenbrae to have a picnic lunch, but we were made so welcome and were tempted by the offer of scones and jam and cream that we decided to dally there and watch the birds- Barred Finches and Crimson Finches feeding while enjoying our scones.
We were planning to head on out back along the Gibb to our next destination but a slight mishap with the fridge door on the Phiilips’ trailer whereby it got ripped right off (nothing that a rivet gun and rivets couldn't fix though) forced a delay and hence we ended up camping at Ellenbrae for the night.
We were camped beside a creek where Euros came to visit us.
The ablution block was a sight to be believed – it was like something out of the flintstones!
